The Smart Manufacturing Data Hub (SMDH) will hold Northern Ireland’s first ever two-day Smart Manufacturing Summit (SMS2023) in Derry~Londonderry on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 June 2023.

SMS2023 will aim to explore the latest developments in Smart Manufacturing, Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Transportation, Digital Transformation, Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, 5G, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). It will help senior leaders throughout the industry to forge strong and everlasting business relationships and provide a platform for all industry experts to network and exchange relevant information with each other.

An opportunity to meet leaders in smart manufacturing
The event will gather a panel of expert industry leaders, including Linda Newnes, Professor of Cost Engineering at Bath University and Neil Tatman, Global Chief of Digital Manufacturing at Rolls Royce.

Attendees can expect to learn best practice from the experts and enjoy networking and forging lifelong business connections with senior leaders in smart manufacturing.

The summit theme is “Embracing Smart Manufacturing to Accelerate Industry” and will be underpinned by content from a panel of speakers who will focus on how senior leaders can embrace and implement Smart manufacturing in their business. Attendees will learn about the benefits of optimal alignment through embracing Smart manufacturing in their factory processes, with the end goal of becoming more cost efficient, productive and competitive.
